Description
 
The ZE-912 has been discontinued. This tire has been replaced by the new ZE950, a new and improved version of the ZE-912. This tire improves upon the 912's already great qualities and offers longer tread wear. The new ZE950 has been designed to match with your existing ZE-912's so you do not have to replace an entire set at the same time. Just be sure to mount your new ZE950's in the rear of your car for the best handling characteristics and safety. Even if you only need two tires, now is a great time to upgrade to the latest Falken has to offer.

Hybrid-Asymmetric Pattern Design - Provides authentic High-Performance grip and genuine touring confidence. Optimized inner and outer tread patterns ensure that dry performance, stability, and all-season grip are available when you need it.

Infinite Sype Sequence - Full depth sypes greatly improve winter traction though-out the life of the tire.

R.W.I. (Rotation Wear Indicators) - Tell you when you rotate your tires.

Quad High-Volume Circumferential Groves - Delivers increased hydroplane resistance for maximum wet stability.

High Angle Variable Cross Grooves - Increases tread stability while effectively evacuating water away from the contact area.

    I have only recently put these tires on my 1991 civic wagon (4 door wagon). I drive very aggressively and I am very pleased with this tire so far. I drove to work in a gently rain this morning and was shocked at how stable these tires felt oin the wet road...even when i was trying to get them to break loose while cornering, they seemed to grip the wet road mch better than what i was expecting after reading other reviews.     I love them for the lack of tread life definatly make up in performance.I give them a 10. They would last longer but I cant resist the traction.I drive 110 miles 1 way every day they last 18 months.I punish them in all conditions. Except auto cross.but I know they will hug the track and drive you home.

    Excellent all-around tire. Very comfortable, predictable and quiet. Excellent resistance to hydroplaning, but wet traction is not as good as other tires I've driven (Falken Azenis RT/615, for example.) I would not hesitate to drive them under all-season conditions, and I think they will work great in our upcoming rainy NW winter.

    These Falken (H-rated) 912s are the best bang for your buck, with respect to the price / performance ratio. Due to its asymmetric tread design you get an outstanding performance in both wet and dry conditions. Have used General Altimax HP and the 912s beat them in all categories, including sidewall design/looks.

Daily Driver/Commuter Average Driver 1997 LEXUS ES300
    I don't drive many miles in a year but so far the Falken ZE-912 have been great. They provide good cornering in both dry and wet conditions and are fairly quiet on the highway. I had the tires "road-forced" balanced so they are are very smooth even at 80 mph and inspire confidence. Time will tell for tread wear and also winter conditions although I didn't buy them for heavy snow: have a four-by for that.
